For this video, I think the crop tool would be the hardest tool to use. It can be challenging for several reasons. Maintaining the correct aspect ratio is crucial, and I often struggle with keeping it consistent, leading to distorted images if not handled carefully. Cropping can also reduce the resolution of an image, especially if it’s already small, making it difficult to balance the desired framing with quality preservation. Additionally, without knowing how to perform non-destructive cropping, users may accidentally remove parts of the image permanently, losing flexibility for future adjustments.

For this video hue adjustments can be challenging despite their creative potential. Changing the hue shifts all the colors in an image, which can unintentionally affect areas with similar colors or complex palettes. This is particularly tricky when trying to preserve natural skin tones, as slight adjustments can result in unnatural shades, making portraits look odd or unrealistic. I also need a good understanding of color theory, since even subtle hue changes can dramatically alter the mood or balance of an image. Achieving the right balance between vibrancy and realism can be difficult, especially without masking or selective adjustments.

For this video filters can be challenging to use effectively, despite their creative potential. If applied without care, filters can lead to over-processed or unnatural-looking images, particularly with tools like Gaussian Blur or Sharpen, which can degrade image quality when overused. Filters that alter the structure, like Liquify or Distort, need careful handling to avoid creating unrealistic effects. Understanding how filters interact with layers and blending modes is essential, as their results can vary depending on how they are applied.
The thing I am most eager to learn is the filters because of their complexity and usefulness.
